Fun Facts
Dumbo won an Academy Award® in 1942 for Best Scoring of a Motion Picture (Frank Churchill and Oliver Wallace), and was nominated for Best Song ("Baby Mine").
The film cost around $800,000 to make, and only 18 months to produce.
"Dumbo" had been scheduled for the cover of "Time" magazine in December 1941, but a much more momentous event occurred -- the bombing of Pearl Harbor -- and poor "Dumbo" was supplanted by Japanese General Yamamoto.
This is the only one of Disney's animated features whose title character doesn't speak.
Mrs Jumbo only speaks once during the film, when she says Dumbo's name.
The circus is called WDP Circus (Walt Disney Productions).

When a map of the southeastern USA is shown, it reads KY where TN should be.
