Fun Facts
This was the first ever animated feature film.
It's premier was at the Carthay Circle Theater in Hollywood.
More than 750 artists worked on the film, which took three years to produce.
The film cost $1.75 million to make, although it's original budget was only $250,000.
It won a special Academy Award® in 1939 consisting of one full-size Oscar and seven dwarf Oscars, presented to Walt Disney by Shirley Temple.
Disney got the idea for the film when he was a newsboy in Kansas City and he saw a major presentation of a silent film version of the story.
Quotes
Grumpy: Ask her who she is, and what she's doing here!
Doc: Ah, yes. What are you, and who are you doing here?
Queen: Magic Mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
Snow White: Oh! What a cute little chair. Why, there's seven little chairs. Must be seven little children. And from the look of this table, seven untidy little children.
Snow White: You're Sleepy!
Sleepy: [Yawning] How'd you guess?
Snow White: Supper's not quite ready. You'll just have time to wash.
Grumpy: Hah! Knew there's a catch to it!
