Getting to Port Canaveral

Ground Transfer

Disney Cruise Line operate return ground transfers for an extra cost of around $60 per person. A DCL representative will meet you at the airport and tell you where to board the coach. If you've been staying at a Disney Resort, you'll be told where and what time the coach will pick you up at the hotel.

If you get the coach from a WDW Resort, they generally only depart between 11:30am-12pm, meaning you only arrive at the Port after 1pm. Check-in will then be very crowded, and people who arrived in the morning will have first go at getting reservations for Palo, etc. If you've already reserved those things online or aren't interested this won't be an issue, but it can mean missing out on things if you are.

Town Car or Limo

There are a number of reliable companies in the Orlando area who will take you to Port Canaveral, either from the airport or an Orlando hotel. Travel in comfort and style in a town car or limousine!

Rental Car

If you've been using a hire car during a stay in Orlando it can be easier to keep hold of the car and drive down to Port Canaveral. You can then either return the car if the rental company has an office near the Port, which many of the larger ones do, or park on the secure car park opposite the DCL Terminal building.

It's very straightfoward to get to Port Canaveral and takes about 1hr 15 - 1hr 30 to get there from WDW.
