Sail Puerto Marquez Lagoon aboard a rip-roaring high speed Shotover Jet — and experience an adventure you'll never forget!
Glimpse the sprawling coastal views and verdant tropical flora of Mexico as you make your way via an air-conditioned motor coach to the Puerto Marquez Lagoon, located approximately 45 minutes outside of Acapulco. Along the way, learn about the city's fascinating history from your friendly guide and take in the picturesque views of Acapulco Bay, the most recognizable body of water in Acapulco, Puerto Marquez Bay and tranquil Tres Palos Lagoon. Snap a picture of the panoramic views at a specially-selected photo stop and then continue on to Puerto Marquez Lagoon, where the thrilling portion of your excursion will begin.
Upon your arrival, make your way to the dock and receive a life jacket and instruction for your upcoming adventure. Then, board the state-of-the-art Shotover Jet — an agile, high-speed motorboat that can reach speeds of nearly 50 miles per hour — and hold on tight as you are whisked away across the lagoon. Feel the wind race across your face and water splash you from all directions as your boat twists and turns across the glistening water. Surrender to 360-degree spins and hairpin turns as your experienced driver demonstrates the maneuverability of your sea vessel. Fly through the mangroves — considered to be some of the tallest in the world — and delight in the tropical sights that surround you with every sharp turn. Zoom past obstacles that seem only inches from the boat and feel the acceleration of near "G" force twirls as you explore the sun-kissed jungle wonderland amidst the Diamond Zone of Acapulco. After your approximate 30-minute ride, sit back and relax as you embark on your approximate 45-minute back to the ship.

Mini Jeep Rhino Adventure
Experience the thrill of a lifetime as you explore Acapulco by all-terrain vehicle.
Lose yourself to the beauty of Acapulco during an hour-long scenic drive to the outskirts of the luxurious Diamond Zone. Once there, meet and greet an expert guide and learn how to operate your vehicle for the afternoon, the Yamaha Rhino. Featuring revolutionary side-by-side seating and a standard pedal configuration, the Yamaha Rhino is a state-of-the-art, all-terrain vehicle that operates just like a regular car. Hop inside your Rhino and then put the pedal to the metal as you follow your guide across the scenic Mexican landscape.
At the start of your adventure, hold tight as you bounce up and down past a picture-perfect nursery brimming with many varieties of palm tree. Maneuver your way through colonial streets and dirt tracks and snap a picture at one of the many photo stops along the way. Journey past a local fishing village and make your way to your first stop, a secluded spot situated on the Tres Palos lagoon — and marvel at the natural beauty that surrounds you everywhere you look. Cut through rugged terrain and set your sights on the magnificence of the Diamond Zone, dubbed the "New Acapulco" because of the area's new real estate developments. Once there, behold the latest commercial centers and exclusive residential communities before journeying to one of Acapulco's most stunning beaches and testing your Rhino against the sun-kissed sandy terrain. Then, debark your vehicle and wind down with some swimming, sunbathing and sightseeing before savoring the flavor of a delicious picnic-style lunch. Following your stop amidst paradise, travel back to base camp where an air-conditioned motor coach will be waiting to take you on a picture-perfect hour-long return trip back to the ship.

Upon your arrival, meet and greet your friendly guide and learn how to operate your vehicle for the afternoon: an exciting all-terrain vehicle. Featuring comfortable seating and excellent off-road handling, the all-terrain vehicle is the perfect transport for taking the road less traveled and is sure to provide you with a thrilling, rip-roaring ride. Hop on your vehicle, and follow your guide past picturesque nurseries brimming with a plethora of palm trees. Maneuver your way over dusty hilltops and journey through the bumpy roads of a traditional Mexican village as you make your way to beautiful Bonfil beach. Once there, speed along the sun-kissed sands and take in the sweeping coastal sights as the wind races across your face — and feel your cares melt away.
As you continue along your scenic journey, hold tight as you bounce up and down across the sprawling sand dunes. Learn about the area's history from your guide and revel in the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, glistening nearby. After your 50-minute trek, return back to base camp and indulge in 45 minutes of sunbathing, swimming and sightseeing.
