Aruba Adventure Sports Excursions

Natural Pool Jeep Adventure

Immerse yourself in the magic of Aruba as you embark on a thrilling 4x4, off-road adventure to the California Lighthouse, the Natural Bridge site and the Natural Pool.

Delight in the eye-catching island terrain of Aruba — boasting spectacular sand dunes and uniquely shaped cacti — during a leisurely stroll from the ship to the excursion starting point located on the pier. Once there, meet and greet your tour guide, who will also act as your driver, and behold your vehicle for the day's adventure: a 4x4 Land Rover. Featuring comfortable seating and excellent off-road handling, the Land Rover is the perfect transport for taking the road less traveled and is sure to provide you with a fun-filled, rip-roaring ride. Hop inside your vehicle and begin your scenic journey through the verdant Cunucu countryside as you make your way to the northern side of the island, home to one of Aruba's towering symbols: the California Lighthouse. Snap a picture of this majestic stone beacon — named after a U.S. ship, the California, sunk in the waters off Aruba in the early 20th century — and delight in the sweeping views of the waves as they crash onto the shore.

After your 15-minute stop, continue on along secluded dusty roads and follow your guide to one of Aruba's most famous tourist attractions: the Natural Bridge site. An archway made of coral limestone and formed naturally over thousands of years, the Natural Bridge stood 25 feet high and 100 feet long before it collapsed into the sea in 2005. Today, the remnants are a reminder of the beauty that once existed, and the spot — which is home to yet another natural archway, the Baby Bridge — is still a famous destination for visitors around the world. Snap a picture of this celebrated treasure upon your arrival and wander the picturesque coastline, where cool island breezes mingle with endless warm sun.

Following your 20-minute visit, travel over gentle hilltops and across blue estuaries — keeping an eye out for Aruba's unique shaped flora and fauna — and make your way to the famous Natural Pool. Inaccessible by car, the Natural Pool is an ocean-filled, volcanic stone formation that resembles a large pool, which sits adjacent to the breaking waves of the sea. Once there, debark your Jeep and hike across a small series of jagged rocks and craggy climbs before plunging into the crystal-clear blue water. Snorkel along the water surface and marvel at a spectacular underwater vista brimming with fantastic marine life. Dive into the pool from the top of a nearby stone perch or simply sit back, relax and feel the spray of water from the rushing tide as it breaks against a nearby rock. After your 90-minute visit amidst paradise, board your 4x4 vehicle and embark on the 30-minute trip back to the ship.
