Cabo San Lucas Water Sports Excursions

Scuba Diving Odyssey

Immerse yourself in the translucent blue waters of the Sea of Cortez and San Lucas Bay during a scuba diving adventure brimming with unique coral and tropical fish.

Sit back and lose yourself to the local sights as you embark on a 10-minute drive to a local dive shop, a NAUI Pro facility and PADI 5 Star dive center. Once there, meet your dive guide — who will provide you with a safety orientation and a marine life briefing — and receive your gear for the unforgettable adventure that awaits you. Surrounded by one of the most extensive deep water canyon systems in the world, Cabo San Lucas boasts some of the most diversified scuba diving in the world. After your orientation, board a skiff and make your way to one of three extraordinary dive sites for an adventure unlike any other.

Upon your arrival, take the plunge and explore an underwater landscape teeming with fantastic rock formations and colorful fish. Dive down deep and venture to the heart of a submerged canyon. Explore a secret cove and marvel at the fascinating marine life that surrounds you at every turn. Reach out to a curious fish or swim alongside a school of sea creatures and experience a sense of calm you never knew existed. After your approximate 90-minute exploration, ascend from the depths and enjoy a refreshing beverage before beginning your 10-minute journey back to the ship.

Depending on weather conditions, you will visit one of the following dive sites:

Pelican Rock — Reaching depths up to 100 feet, this dive site boasts a wide variety of tropical fish — including putterfish, regal king angelfish and Moorish Idol — and includes picturesque sandfalls.

Neptunes Finger — Reaching depths up to 100 feet, this underwater landscape features rocky bluffs with both hard and soft coral, swaying sea fans, colorful sponges and gentle gorgonians. Occasionally, a manta ray or sea turtle will visit the area.

Pinnacle and Sea Lion Rookery — Reaching depths up to 80 feet, the dive site appeals to the more advanced diver due to the currents that can be present at time and is usually awash with tropical fish, manta rays, sea turtles and sea lions.

Embark on a deep-sea, catch-and-release fishing adventure in one of the world's top sportfishing destinations!

From the pier, board a modern, six-person cabin cruiser and take off on an approximate 35-minute journey along the coast of Cabo San Lucas to a secluded ocean spot known for its first-rate fishing. For over 50 years, seasoned anglers from around the globe have spent time in beautiful Cabo for the plethora of billfish and marlin that swim in the crystal-blue waters of the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez. Upon your arrival, sit back and relax as the crew rigs fishing lines to trail lures. As soon as a fish bites, grab the fishing pole and hold on tight as you fight to reel it in from a secure fishing chair. Once your fish has been captured, snap a quick picture before releasing it back into the ocean and beginning your quest for another catch.

During your adventure at sea, enjoy a delightful boxed lunch and a refreshing beverage as the cool ocean breezes wash over you from every direction. Take in the tranquility of the ocean from the liner deck, all the while ready to engage the next fish to take the bait. Talofa Tall Ship

Travel back in time during a fun-filled adventure on the high seas where you're invited to learn how to sail the Talofa, a magnificent Tall Ship.

Behold Mexico's captivating coastline of rocky perches, scenic shorelines and secluded coves as you embark on a short walk to the Talofa, a Tall Ship — a large, traditionally rigged sailboat — constructed in the last century. Once there, revel in the beauty of this swashbuckling vessel and meet and greet the merry band of privateers who will act as your crew for the day's adventure. Then, wave bon voyage as you cast off on a thrilling journey into the Pacific Ocean, where you will be invited to help sail the Talofa and experience what life was like during the rollicking days of pirates and long-lost treasure.

During your sailing, guests will divide into various teams to man the various stations of the ship. Participants will learn the different parts of the ship and the tasks that apply to each section of the vessel. Learn how to trim a sail, punch the stop watch, haul the lines and even steer this magnificent Tall Ship. Feel the rush of excitement as the ship cuts through the breaking waves. Journey back through time as "Captain Cactus" offers up an intriguing tale of life upon the seas and the many privateers and pirates that once sailed the waters around Cabo San Lucas. Share a healthy ration of "grog" with the crew and join them in a hearty song celebrating the high seas. Savor a light lunch and lose yourself to the panoramic views of the breathtaking blue pacific ocean, as the sun and sea breezes wash over you. Then, raise the sails and make your way back to the pier — and back to modern civilization — where, upon your arrival, you will receive a complimentary certificate declaring you to be an honorary crew member of the Talofa. Finally, embark on a short walk back to the ship.
