The official currency is the krone (DKK), but many shops also accept the Euro. Credit cards are widely accepted.

Service charge is usually included in the bill, so only tip extra if you feel you've had exceptional service.

The best way to get around is by taxi, which are readily available. Available taxis display a lit yellow "Taxa" sign. You can also get around by bus, which are entered via the front door and exited by the middle or back doors.

Common sense is advised when it comes to safety - don't carry large amounts of cash, or important documents (passport, etc), and be aware that pickpockets may be operating.
