Dolphin Push Pull and Swim

Begin your adventure with a 5-minute walk to your taxi transportation, which will take you on the 20-minute ride to Chankanaab National Park, home of Dolphin Discovery. Upon arrival, receive an orientation and lifejacket before making your way to the enclosure with your trainer.

Enter the water onto a submerged platform and be introduced to your new dolphin friend. Then be led into deeper waters where you're pushed by a dolphin while on a boogie board, pulled by its pectoral swims, and then don a snorkel and mask to swim with these lovely incredible creatures! Marvel at the grace and intelligence of these marine animals as they perform fast swims, high jumps and other breathtaking tricks.

At the conclusion of your 30-minute program, you can view the DVD filmed of you while in the water before enjoying some free time to explore the rest of the National Park. The park includes a beach, pool, gardens and even replicas of archaeological sites. When you are ready to leave the park, your taxi transportation will be available at the park entrance to transport you back to the ship.

After your orientation, make your way to a submerged, waist-deep platform and immerse yourself in a magical in-water exchange with real live bottlenose dolphins. Next, receive a safety briefing about helmet diving. Cozumel is renowned for its stunning turquoise waters and Snuba is the perfect way to get an up close look below the surface at a myriad of brilliant colors that surround you in this incredible underwater world. Snuba is a method of underwater swimming in which the swimmer uses fins, diving mask, weights and breathing apparatus commonly used in scuba diving, but the air tanks which are usually strapped to the back are instead laid horizontally in 5'-long rubber pontoon rafts that remain on the water's surface. A certified dive master leads the group during this unique adventure.

After a safety briefing and demonstration, your dive master will take you into shallow water where you'll be able to practice your skills and build your confidence. Once you're ready, you'll proceed out to deeper water and dive down to depths of approximately 15-20 feet where you'll find tropical fish, including angel and parrotfish, and brilliant coral formations. After approximately 25 minutes underwater, gradually swim to the surface before taking a moment to view the underwater photos taken of you during your exploration. Finally, sit back and relax during the 5-minute taxi ride back to the pier.

  • For safety reasons, Guests with heart or respiratory conditions and Guests with diabetes may not participate. In addition, Guests must fill in a medical questionnaire and release form before being allowed to participate.

Set sail along Cozumel's beautiful coastline to a trio of specially selected snorkel stops in Cozumel's protected marine park, reserved exclusively for small tour groups.

Board a comfortable snorkel boat for the 30-minue sail to your first snorkel spot. Your Captain and crew will take you to the best reef depending on the weather on the day of the excursion to give you the best snorkel conditions possible. Popular reefs in Cozumel include Paraiso Bajo, Paraiso Profundo and Dzul Ha. Upon arrival, your guide will distribute the snorkel gear and provide a safety briefing. Take the plunge into the inviting sea and snorkel for approximately 30 minutes amongst a variety of tropical fish and unique coral formations. Climb back onboard and continue to your second and then third snorkel stops, where you will also receive approximately 30 minutes time in the water at each.

Enjoy a boxed lunch and a beverage as you reflect on your snorkel adventure and sail back to the ship.
