Cinque Terre
"Cinque Terre" means "five lands," and is five villages resting on sheer cliffs that plunge steeply into the sea. It's a national park and a recognized site of important world heritage. To be able to go on the main coastal path you need to buy a ticket, the "Cinque Terre Card" which entitles you to walk along the paths and use the local trains and buses.
Castle of San Giorgio
The Castle of the Counts of Biandrate at San Giorgio Canavese is made up of buildings that were used for defensive purposes during medieval times. Featuring reinforced walls and towering battlements, it has been rebuilt several times. The Castle is also home to the "Ubaldo Formentini" or Civic Museum of La Spezia.

Pisa, is of course, home to the famous Leaning Tower, but visitors can also find other attractions here, including the Battistero, the Duomo and Campo Santo. The city can be accessed by train, and is best explored on foot.
