Proceed to Azeitão, a small village situated on the old Setúbal-Lisbon Road at the foot of the Serra da Arrábida. Dotted with country palaces, fountains and narrow alleyways, the town is famous for its wines, olives and creamy sheep's cheese—the latter prized as one of the best in the country. Visit one of the cellars that produces the region's renowned Moscatel wine, as well as a wide variety of popular red and white table wines. Here you will have the opportunity to sample the house specialty (Guests under 21 will be served a non-alcoholic beverage).
Drive to Palmela, approximately 30 minutes away, where you will have 60 minutes to enjoy a typical Portuguese lunch (included in the price of this tour).
After lunch, enjoy 30 minutes of free time for photos and to admire the panoramic view.
Continue to Sesimbra via "The Arrábida Natural Park," a protected area known for its unusual soil and microclimate, both rare in this part of Europe.Visit Sesimbra, a fishing village and popular tourist resort. Protected from the north winds by the slopes of the Serra da Arrábida, Sesimbra was once occupied by the Romans and later the Moors.
Enjoy a guided 60-minute visit of the restored 5-tower medieval castle, originally a Moorish fortress captured by D. Afonso Henriques in 1165. Housed inside the castle walls is the church of Santa Maria, which dates back to the 12th century.
Afterwards, take in the sights during your journey back to the pier crossing "The 25th of April Bridge."

Unlike many of Europe's great Marian pilgrimage sites, the sanctity of Fátima dates not from the Middle Ages but from the early 20th century. She came to Fátima, which had remained faithful to the Catholic Church during the recent persecutions by the government.

Take an approximate 45-minute drive from the pier to Sintra, a beautiful town classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Enjoy 60 minutes of free time for shopping and sightseeing in Sintra's city center and walk the narrow cobblestone streets lined with handicraft-filled shops and cafés. Also take in the Sintra National Palace (Palácio da Vila), considered the best preserved medieval Royal Palace in Portugal. Note: Admission to the Palace is not included and optional during the free time. The amount of walking is at the Guest's discretion; however this tour requires a minimum of 0.4 miles of walking at a leisurely pace, part of which will be on cobblestones and/or uphill.
Continue by coach to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe for a 20 minute photo stop.
On the way back to the pier, pass by the resort towns of Guincho, Cascais (short photo stop) and Estoril, all traditional fishing villages that have evolved into summer vacation hot spots.
Return to the pier.
