Reserve a vehicle prior to the start of your cruise, and later when you dock in Naples, have it ready and waiting to take you and up to seven family members or friends to the places you most want to visit.
Each private vehicle includes one driver, but you can also reserve an experienced guide who will rendezvous with you in Naples or another nearby city and lead you on an eye-opening tour, providing insightful and relevant information designed with your entire family in mind.
Excursions last approximately four or eight hours, but you're invited to reserve additional hours if you so desire.

Take an approximate 75-minute drive, passing Mt. Vesuvius to the seaside town of Sorrento.
Upon arrival at Sorrento, children will participate on a fun-filled pizza-making lesson at a local restaurant along with Disney Cruise Line Youth Counselors.
Adults can enjoy an optional guided walking tour (wear comfortable shoes) of the historical center or have approximately 45 minutes of free time to explore Corso Italia, the flower-lined main thoroughfare of the town, or Correale Museum, home to antique furniture, porcelain and Neapolitan paintings.

Take an approximate 30-minute drive to a place frozen in time: the ancient Roman city of Herculaneum, nestled beneath the Mt. Vesuvius volcano. Whereas Pompeii was buried in ash, Herculaneum was enshrouded in an explosive combination of hot gas, ash and rock, thereby preserving it better than Pompeii.
Embark on a one-hour guided tour (wear comfortable shoes) through the city's many ruins. Note: The ground is uneven and you will walk approximately one mile during this tour.
