Take an approximate 15-minute drive from the harbor to Kadriorg Park, the main recreation area of Tallinn, founded by Peter the Great in honor of his wife Catherine.
Walk through the park to a beautiful baroque palace that once was a summer residence of Russian czars and now houses the Museum of European Art. The tour continues to the Pirita suburb, home to the ruins of 15th-century St. Birgitta's Convent. Pass the Forest Cemetery, where distinguished Estonians are laid to rest, and continue to the yachting complex built for the 1980 Olympic Regatta.
Arrive at the upper part of the old town for a walking tour. Starting at Tall Hermann Tower, a short walk takes you to Palace Square with the Parliament House and the Russian Orthodox Church. The costumed Dame of the Palace will welcome you and take children on a short tour of the palace followed by a drawing workshop where children can draw their impressions of the palace.
Walk through the park to the area's newest art museum, Kumu, recognized as 2008 European Museum of the Year. Kumu is a new type of modern multifunctional arts center that contains exhibition and lecture halls, diverse facilities and an educational center for young visitors and art lovers. The permanent exhibition is based on the extensive collection of the Art Museum of Estonia and reflects the development of Estonian art since the 18th century.
Children will be accompanied by Disney Cruise Line Youth Counselors and their own guide for a special tour of exhibitions that are geared for kids. Later, children can reveal their creativity by making a small piece of art to take home as a souvenir.

Tallinn by Tram

Board a coach for the approximate 30-minute drive from the port to Kopli Peninsula were the tram tour starts. Take a seat in the tram Pauliine, named after the first female tram driver, who started her career in 1937.

The American aeronaut Charles Leroux, purportedly Abraham Lincoln's nephew, was buried here after his fatal jump in 1898.

Visit the remains of St. Bridget's Convent, with its massive gothic façade, and walls of the main building, foundations, cellars and cemetery. Founded in 1407 as a part of a Swedish religious order, St. Bridget's was destroyed by the Russian army in 1577.
Proceed to Viimsi Peninsula the site of the Viimsi Open Air Museum. The museum highlights Estonian peasant architecture from the 19th and 20th centuries.
After your 30-minute visit to Viimsi Open Air Museum, enjoy coffee or tea (other beverages available) and a pastry at a local seaside restaurant before taking the approximate 30-minute drive back to the ship.

Start your tour with a sightseeing drive through Tallinn's historic city center.
Pass Kadriorg Park, an important recreation area of Tallinn, founded by the Russian emperor Peter the Great in honor of his wife Catherine. Note: This tour includes approximately 1 mile of walking at a steady pace, part of which will be on cobblestones and/or uphill. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Stop at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds where the famous Estonian Song Festivals are held every 5 years with up to 30,000 performers. Enjoy the panoramic view over the old town and Tallinn Bay.
The tour continues with a drive to Pirita, and the well-preserved 16th-century ruins of St. Birgitta's Convent.
On the way back to old town, pass the Olympic Yachting Complex, Count Orlov's summer palace and have a photo stop at the Russalka monument.
Stop at the foot of the Tall Hermann Tower for a walking tour to the Toompea Hill (upper town). Admire the pseudo-baroque Toompea Castle that now houses the Estonian Parliament, the Russian Orthodox Church of St. Alexander Nevski and the 15th-century "hate wall" that separated the nobility and the merchants.
Continue along medieval cobblestone streets to the 13th century gothic Dome Church (St. Mary's Cathedral), filled with centuries-old coats of arms and tombstones.
Stop at a local café for a light snack and beverage before enjoying approximately 30 minutes of free time to shop or explore independently.
Drive back to the ship.

Drive approximately 15 minutes to Tallin's upper town where your walking tour will begin. Note: This tour includes approximately 0.75 miles of walking at a steady pace, part of which will be on cobblestones and/or uphill. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Take a short walk to Palace Square, bordered by the Parliament House (1920-22) and the Russian Orthodox Church (1900). Note: An inside visit of the church cannot be guaranteed due to possible religious ceremonies.
Stroll to St. Mary's Cathedral (Dome Church), dedicated in 1233. Continue through narrow cobblestone lanes to 2 scenic viewpoints fora magnificent panoramic view of the lower town with its towers and steeples.
Re-board your coach and drive through the western part of Tallinn to Esko Farm which specializes in rearing cows.
Enjoy a hands-on experience learning to make butter before sampling some of the products made at the farm.
Continue through Saku, famous for the Saku Brewery, to the town of Nõmme. Upon arrival, visit a typical small private house for an insight into Estonian life.
Enjoy walking around the premises before joining the hostess for a cup of coffee and homemade cake (other beverages available).
Take an approximate 30-minute drive back to the pier.
