Tips & Fun Facts
 Look out for the cast of critters on both sides of track is waiting to surprise you.
Watch out for the "goat trick!" After climbing the second hill, look to the right for the goat eating a stick of dynamite. Keep your eyes on the goat all the way through the turn and see what happens!
 At the top of the first hill, look back and you'll see lights on the pools of water forming a hidden Mickey.
On the second hill lift of the where you see the goat, look to the left to see three rusty gears forming an upside down hidden Mickey.
 Opened September 2, 1979.
The attraction replaced the Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland.
Big Thunder Mountain's design is based on the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah.
The trains are named: U.B. Bold, U.R. Daring, U.R. Courageous, I.M. Brave, I.B. Hearty
& I.M. Fearless.

 Guests must transfer from their wheelchair or Electric Convenience Vehicle to the ride vehicle by themselves or by assisted by members of their party to experience this attraction.
Wheelchair Access: Enter through the exit to the unload area and contact a Cast Member for boarding instructions. Please remain behind the yellow line. A specially designed vehicle is available. If you have a Disney's FASTPASS® return ticket, follow the same procedures.

 For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.
