Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters

Attention all Space Rangers! The Evil Emperor Zurg is up to no good again and attempting to steal all of the crystallic fusion cells, which would leave Star Command 'power-less'! It is up to you, as raw Star Command recruits to defeat Zurg and save the galaxy from almost certain doom.

Your mission, as will be explained by a life-size audio-animatronic Buzz Lightyear prior to launch, sees you board two person 'space-cruiser' vehicles, each with individual laser blasters and a central control joystick - something which allows you to spin the vehicle 360 degrees, making it easier to blast some of those harder to reach targets. However you may find both you and your co-rider want to spin in different directions at the same time!

Your main "aim" is of course to hit as many of the targets as you can, each of which can be identified with a 'Z' for Zurg. Targets come in several different shapes, each of which offers a different point score when hit. Diamonds and triangles offer greater point scores than circles and squares for example. You might also want to keep an eye out for any target which has lights around it as these will also be worth bonus points.    

Once you complete your mission, a screen in front of you will display your final score and you can use this to determine your rank from the mission profile chart at the end of the ride.
