Celebrate! A Street Party

“Celebrate! A Street Party,” an exhilarating spectacle of music, dance and guest participation. This dazzling street show features an energetic cast of dancers – some atop stilts – and Disney characters who invite guests to join them in the kind of celebration that can only be found at Disneyland.

THE SHOW: The party starts with colorful float units and the exciting new tune “Pumpin’ Up The Party.” Three main units are designed like rock ‘n’ roll stages and feature a live Party DJ. These three are separated by floats representing giant Disney character balloons: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Streamers wave overhead, connecting the show units into one massive party zone, decorated with party ribbons and Mickey-shaped balloons. The DJ invites guests to shout out what they’ve come to celebrate, and invites everyone to join the party and dance.

LET’S DANCE!: Dancers don fedoras and swing-style Zoot Suit jackets for a mix of swing dance tunes: “Jump With My Baby,” “Jump, Jive & Wail” and “I Wanna Be Like You.” As the excitement builds, the DJ invites everyone to shake it up: “Let’s rock!”

LET’S ROCK!: The dancers change from swing costumes to flashy party costumes and hop into a rock ‘n’ roll dance mix: “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” “Do You Wanna Dance?,” “The Twist” and “Let’s Twist Again.” They invite spectators to join them twisting in the street. Stilt-dancers join in as the music picks up a Latin beat.

LET’S CONGA!: The dancers change into hot Latin colors for the tunes “Cup of Life” and “Tico, Tico.” They pull guests into a fun-filled Conga line that weaves around the floats. The conga line weaves to a pulsating medley of Disney hits, newly arranged with a Latin flair: “Under the Sea,” “Friend Like Me” and “Tiki Room.”

FINALE: As the energy hits its height, the DJ calls for guests to “Clear the streets. This party is pumpin’ and it’s out of control.” The traveling bicycle/drum kits enter the street and the entire cast is rockin’ and rollin’ as the float units come to life with surprise finale effects. The final “Celebrate!” moment showers the audience with confetti streamers.
