With special effects created especially for this world first at Disneyland Paris, the not-to-be-missed show goes beyond anything you can imagine. For the first time, visitors will be caught up in the action thanks to images projected onto Sleeping Beauty Castle. With performances every evening at the Disneyland Park, Disney Dreams®! is pure, unadulterated magic like you’ve never seen it before!
First and foremost, Disney Dreams®! tells a moving, magical story. Guided by Peter Pan, guests rediscover the greatest Disney stories: Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, not forgetting Rapunzel and many, many more.
Just imagine a nighttime show with special effects creating incredible illusions. Using state-of-the-art techniques, Sleeping Beauty Castle will be transformed successively into a star-studded sky – into which Peter Pan flies off – a replica of Notre-Dame cathedral with the Hunchback on its roof, and a fantastic play area for the chimney sweeps from Mary Poppins. Disney Dreams®! is an explosion of lights and colour, retracing the highlights of the greatest Disney stories.
Disney’s “Imagineers” have worked for months on end to develop this one-of-a-kind nighttime show – awe-inspiring for adults and children alike. New special effects have been specially developed to create new illusions and transform Sleeping Beauty Castle. This world first features dazzling lasers, spectacular water sprays and absolutely incredible firework effects, culminating in a breath-taking finale.
Water has a prime place in the show, with new fountains installed all around Sleeping Beauty Castle. Some of the fountains are powerful enough to send the water spraying several metres up into the air. The Disney Characters will come to life on the facade of Sleeping Beauty Castle and on two water screens located on either side. These absolutely unique screens will display animated scenes featuring your favourite Disney characters. Wonderful glistening colours will magically bring the water to life.
In addition to all these incredible effects, the teams of designers have decided to use breath-taking firework effects. Flames will burst out on all sides of Sleeping Beauty Castle, producing a realistic blaze effect. For the first time ever at Disneyland Paris, the action will take place around and in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, making Disney Dreams®! a brand new magical show.
Music plays an important role in a show like Disney Dreams®!. The story is told through the music, carrying visitors through the different scenes. The glorious music was a vital element to this project from the very beginning. Walt Disney himself once said, “I cannot think of the pictorial story without thinking about the complementary music which will fulfill it. Often the musical theme comes first, suggesting a way of treatment.”
The greatest Disney classics – from Aladdin to Rapunzel, including Beauty and the Beast and Mary Poppins – will feature in Disney Dreams®! too. Arranged by Joel McNeely, the Disney Dreams®! music was recorded in London’s legendary Abbey Road studios. To make Disney Dreams®! even more exceptional, the action and special effects blend perfectly with the music, transporting visitors to the heart of the story.

The best places for viewing Disney Dreams are Central Plaza and Main Street, U.S.A. A good view of the Castle front is essential to get the full effect.
