Disneyland Park Tips

We recommend you go into the Park early. On entering the Park head straight for the attraction you most want to see. Space Mountain (Discoveryland) queues are usually shortest early in the morning.

Alternatively, go late. Many visitors leave the Parks in the early evening resulting in shorter queues.

To make more of out your stay, try Disney’s revolutionary queue busting system, FastPass, which is available in the Disneyland Park on Space Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, Peter Pan, Big Thunder Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.

Most people head left when they enter the Disneyland Park and end up in Frontierland. Keep to the right instead and go to Discoveryland for Space Mountain and other rides

Plan your itinerary. Park guides and show times are available from City Hall or from your Disney Hotel.  There is also a guide to waiting times at the Tip Board on the right at the end of Main Street, USA which indicates which queues are shortest.

Try to avoid having lunch between 12.00pm - 2.00pm in the Parks as this is when the restaurants are at their busiest. Either plan your lunch at a different time, or alternatively, you may like to eat in Disney Village, just five minutes walk from the Parks.

Join the Disneyland Railroad train which circles the Disneyland Park at Frontierland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland rather than at Main Street, USA which is generally busier.

Queues for attractions are generally shorter during the parades.
