Animal Kingdom Character Greetings

Listed below are the most common places to find characters throughout the parks and Resorts. Characters also appear in other places too, and you should check your guidemap and Park Times Guide for up to date character greeting information and times.
Entrance / Oasis
Characters can usually be found just inside the turnstiles shortly after the park opens, and throughout the morning.
At park opening time there is a short 'show' called "The Adventure Begins," where Rafiki offers a few words of welcome and is joined by a whole host of characters.

Mickey, Minnie, Rafiki, Baloo, King Louie, Timon, Chip 'n' Dale, Donald Duck, Pluto.
Discovery Island Character Landing
Across from Flame Tree BBQ, just before the entrance to DinoLand, this character greeting area is easily missed. Walk down the path and you'll find a group of 100 Acre Wood Pals waiting to greet you!

Island Mercantile
On the Discovery Island side of Island Mercantile.

Lilo & Stitch.
Camp Minnie-Mickey Character Trails
In the heart of Camp Minnie-Mickey are four separate trails, each leading to a different character. Each character has a separate queue.

Meet the characters here whilst waiting for the Festival of the Lion King.
Queues can get very long just after a show has finished.
Africa
Characters can be found next to Tamu Tamu Refreshments, as you head out of Africa and along the path to Asia.

King Louie, Baloo, Terk, Flik.
Rafiki's Planet Watch
Take the Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch and you may meet some characters.
