FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING
This Broadway style production is a colourful and lively show which combines song and dance to great effect, joining the pageantry of a parade with the thrill of a tribal celebration. Simba, Timon and Pumba and a cast of their savannah friends all join in the fun as acrobatic performers, singers and dancers all light up the stage in front of you to a chorus of songs from the Disney classic " The Lion King"
Guests are directed to one of the four different seating areas which surround the central stage. As the show gets underway, the reason for this becomes apparent as each section is labeled either Warthog, Elephant, Lion or Giraffe. Giant floats on which your allocated animal stands soon fill the room, along with performers in African tribal robes and various animal costume. Acts such as the 'tumble-monkeys', a group of zany, bouncing acrobats, tribal stilt walkers, fire jugglers and high wire aerialists that soar high above the audience follow, each choreographing their routine to songs from the movie, such as 'Be Prepared', 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' and 'Circle of Life'. The shows 50 performers all return for the rousing finale of a medley of songs from the film.
