Epcot Tips

Plan to arrive at the Park around 15 minutes before scheduled opening. You'll be allowed through the turnstiles and up to Spaceship Earth and get to see the Park Opening Ceremony. Once the park is officially open Cast Members will walk guests over to each attraction - no running is allowed.

Make use of the FASTPASS system which will help save you time waiting in line. Get a FASTPASS for one of the more popular attractions, and visit a nearby attraction that has a shorter wait, whilst you await your FASTPASS time.

If you want to ride the most popular rides, such as Soarin', Test Track and Mission: SPACE, head to them as soon as you arrive at the Park, as queues can quickly build up.

Future World is busiest in the morning, and World Showcase busiest in the afternoon. If you arrive at Park opening, visit the most popular attractions first. Once World Showcase opens head over there, then back to Future World mid-afternoon when it should be quieter.

Visit World Showcase in the evening, when the atmosphere changes and the pavilions come to life.

Most people start at Canada and work anti-clockwise around World Showcase, start at Mexico instead.

Don't miss the Live Entertainment and Performers in the different World Showcase Pavilions. Check the Times Guide for that day for times and locations.

If it starts to rain heavily, many people will leave the park, leaving short lines at the attractions. Either visit undercover attractions, or buy a rain poncho from one of the shops.

The busiest times for meals are 11am - 2pm, and 5pm - 7pm. Try to eat outside of these times if you want to avoid large queues at the counter service places and restaurants.

If the weather gets too hot, visit the indoor attractions where you can cool off in the air-conditioning.

If your children are likely to play in the play fountains, make sure you take swimwear or a spare change of clothes.

Shops are busiest towards the end of the day, and quietest in mornings and afternoons.

Make use of the free package delivery service if you make any purchases in the parks. Your shopping will be sent to the park exit or back to your Disney Resort hotel.

FASTPASSes for Soarin' normally run out early, so get one during the morning if this attraction is a priority.

Children will love visiting the Kidcot stations in each World Showcase Pavilion.

Buy children a World Showcase Passport from one of the Epcot shops. They can get the Passport stamped in each country, and a Cast Member will write something in his/her own language.

To get to one of the countries on the other side of World Showcase Lagoon, take one of the Friendship Launches across the Lagoon.

Restrooms at Innoventions West, the Imagination Pavilion and Morocco are quietest.
