THE MAGIC OF DISNEY ANIMATION

Take a closer look at how Disney artists and animators bring their ideas and creations to life and even try out some of your own animation skills at "The Magic Of Disney Animation". This interactive tour begins with a short film presentation, "Drawn To Animation", where a live artist explains the animation process, from conception to completion, as well as highlighting the importance of character development. Mushu the dragon (from Disney's Mulan) injects plenty high-jinx into proceedings as he abley tries to assist with the show.

Following this, you'll enter the interactive section of the tour, where you'll find a number of hands-on exhibits and displays. There's also the opportunity to join trained Disney artists who will instruct you on how to draw a few of the most famous Disney characters in the "Animation Academy".
The Magic of Disney Animation also features a themed meet-and-greet area where guests come face-to-face with the latest larger-than-life animated characters. Characters will appear inside on an ever-changing basis, with 'toon stars from the latest release featured for guest photos and autograph sessions.

The Magic Of Disney Animation' has undergone quite a few changes over the last few years. Rehabs in 2003 & 2004 followed the announcement that Disney had decided to cease its animation division at the studios (choosing to move its entire animation operations to Burbank, California). Guests who visited the attraction prior to November 2003 may remember the opening segment which included a short film starring Robin Williams and Walter Cronkite.
