Escape the busy Magic Kingdom walkways and hop aboard the Liberty Belle for a scenic cruise down the 'Rivers of America.' The authentic sternwheeler steams past log cabins, wilderness creatures and some of Frontierland and Liberty Squares biggest attractions.

These are found towards the front of the boat on the lower decks. Get some great shots of the various attractions you pass on the way round the waterway such as Big Thunder Mountain and Haunted Mansion. For best results, head to the top deck. Look out for Disney characters who occasional cruise on the Liberty Belle! The Liberty Belle often hosts live entertainment during the Magic Kingdoms special seasonal events such as Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickeys Very Merry Xmas. Don't worry about the Liberty Belle running aground anywhere, the paddle boat actually runs along a track. The Liberty Belle's maximum capacity is 450 guests. The Liberty Belle was formerly named the 'Richard F. Irvine' The change occurred during extensive rehab in the 90's. The Magic Kingdom was once home to two riverboats, the 'Richard F Irvine' and the 'Admiral Joe Fowler' The latter was damaged during dry-dock maintenance in 1980 and never returned.
