Pumpkin Cake Recipe from WDW Swan and Dolphin Resorts


2/3 Cups Butter
1½ Cups Light Brown Sugar
2 Large Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Cup Canned Pumpkin
3 Cups All Purpose Flour
1½ tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Salt
1½ tsp Cinnamon
¾ tsp Ginger
½ tsp All spice
½ tsp Mace
1/8 tsp Cloves
1 Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Sour Cream


Preheat oven to 350°.

Using a mixer with the paddle attachment, cream butter in a mixing bowl until soft. Add the brown sugar and mix until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time scraping the bowl after each addition. Add vanilla and pumpkin. Add flour and spices in three additions alternating with the milk.

Stir in the sour cream. Bake in kougloff pan for 1½ hrs.
