Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes

Grab yourself a paddle and go explorin' around Disneyland's Rivers of America. Accompanying you in the 20-seater canoes are two frontiersman (or women) who will give you a brief lesson on how to paddle before leaving the dock. Once on the water, your guides will point any sights to be seen and the story behind them, such as settlers cabin and an Indian chief on horseback. The length of time it takes you to circumnavigate Tom Sawyer Island will depend on your crew and whether there are other boats on the waterway, but you're not likely to be more than 10 minutes. If you choose not to paddle once aboard, expect plenty ribbing from your guides!

Wheelchair Access: Proceed to the attraction exit via the ramp next to the lower-level stairs of Hungry Bear Restaurant. Contact a Cast Member for boarding instructions. Guests must negotiate steps when boarding and disembarking the canoe. Guests must maintain their balance when stepping in or out of canoe. Young children are required to wear life vests.
