Star Tours

A supposedly routine trip to the Endor moon becomes a battle for survival in this motion-simulation style attraction, inspired by the original “Star Wars” trilogy.

Rookie droid pilot RX-24 (or ‘Rex’ as he is also known) is setting off on his maiden journey with a Star Speeder full of space tourists (that’s you!) However, a wrong turning on departure is soon followed by an overshot of the Endor Moon (easily done when traveling at light speed!) resulting in you heading directly into an icy asteroid field.

The turbulent voyage takes yet another perilous twist, when having emerged from the asteroids Rex fly’s right into the middle of an epic battle between the rebel fleet and their Imperial enemies. A nearby Star Destroyer catches you in its tractor beam but a rebel X-wing fighter frees you form its grasp and guides you out of harms way. Or so you think, as moments later the infamous Death Star comes into view, and Rex is instructed to follow the rebellion fighters on their mission.

The assault takes you into the Death Stars trenches amongst heavy fire from pursuing Tie-Fighters. Rex blasts the enemies using the Star Speeders lasers whilst an X-wing takes care of the Death Star (in the same manner as Luke Skywalker did in Episode IV). With the Death Star’s implosion imminent, you jump to light speed and return back where you began, landing (almost) perfectly in the process.
