THE AMERICAN ADVENTURE

As the name suggests, "The American Adventure" is a wholly patriotic celebration of US history, it's spirit and it's diversity.
The 30 minute show is hosted by Mark twain and Benjamin Franklin (in audio-animatronic form) who take you on a journey through the significant periods and events that have helped shape the nation. Scenes featuring other well known figures tackle the story of their age, such as the writing of the declaration of independence, slavery and civil war, the suffering of native Americans, world war's 1 & 2 and many more.
The show ends with a passion stirring 'Golden Dreams' film montage that encompasses events and persons from post war through to the present day.

Tips & Fun Facts

Fancy a break? take a seat inside the pavilion and enjoy some live entertainment. Voices of Liberty or American Vybe give performances throughout the day.

The two feathers worn by Chief Joseph symbolize peace.
Oddly, the wigs which the audio animatronic figures in the show wear are actually made from real hair. Each AA character is equipped with an individual voice and speaker system instead of a theatre system.
The stage measures 130 by 50 feet, about half the size of a football field.

Hidden Mickeys

In the lobby, go to the painting of the wagon train heading west, and look closely above the front leg of the foremost oxen.

During the Statue of Liberty scene, as the torch is coming up and fireworks are going off, at the far right of the stage behind the torch, a firework explodes and dissipates into smoke in the shape of a Mickey!
