TOMORROWLAND TRANSIT AUTHORITY PEOPLEMOVER

In the heart of Tomorrowland you'll find one its most undervalued attractions, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority.
This unique linear induction powered mass- transit vehicle takes you on a relaxing tour around most of what Tomorrowland has to offer and gives those who keep their distance from such rides as Space Mountain a chance to see what it looks like inside.

The journey takes you though the afore mentioned Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and past others such as Carousel of Progress and Stitch's Great Escape.

Tips & Fun Facts

The 'TTA' is a great attraction to sit back and relax for a short while, especially during busy times.
Be sure to ride in the evening while Tomorrowland is illuminated for a different experience.
Listen out for the narratives as you pass by the attractions, some of it can be quite amusing (Paging Mr Tom Morrow!) Stitch can also be heard as you bypass his attraction.
Keep an eye for Walt's very own model of what he hoped Epcot would one day look like as you pass by another of his creations, 'Carousel of Progress'

When the Tomorrowland Transit Authority debuted in 1975, it was then known as the 'WEDway People Mover' (many still refer to it as such) It became the TTA following a major rehab of Tomorrowland in the mid 90's.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority received the 2004 Disney Magazine Reader's Choice Award for Most Underrated Attraction at Magic Kingdom Park!
