Pools
The main Meadow Swimmin' Pool and kiddie pool are located in the Meadow
Recreation area, near the Meadow Trading Post.
There is another pool near the Wilderness Homes.
Arcade
Play video and pinball games at Davy Crockett's
Wilderness Arcade at Pioneer Hall and Daniel Boone's Wilderness Arcade
in the Meadow Recreation Area.
Playground
Playgrounds located at Pioneer Hall,
the Meadow Recreation area, Creekside Meadow and the Marina/Beach area.
Beach
Soak up the sun and take in the views over Bay Lake on the white sand
beach.
Carriage Rides
Thirty-minute, horse-drawn rides are offered nightly in antique carriages
able to accommodate up to four adults, or two adults and three children
-- allowing guests to choose a romantic evening for two or a fun-filled
excursion for the family.
Originating from Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
and Campground, the horse-drawn carriages quietly glide along lake-lined
paths under Spanish moss and tall trees throughout the 700-acre, rustic-themed
resort.
Advance reservations are suggested and may be made up to 60 days in
advance by calling 407/824-2832. Carriages are available from 6-10 p.m.
daily. Departure is from Pioneer Hall at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
and Campground. Cost is $30.
Wagon Rides
For guests wanting to enjoy an old-fashioned wagon ride, 45-minute rides
are also offered at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground on
a first-come, first-served basis. The horse-drawn wagon rides offer a
scenic tour through the forest trails. Wagon rides depart nightly at
7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. from Pioneer Hall. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for
children ages 3-9. Children ages 3-11 must be accompanied by an adult.
In addition, group wagon rides are available, at $125 per hour, by calling
407/824-2832. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Campfire
A nightly campfire sing-along and marshmallow roast with Chip 'n' Dale,
followed by Disney movies in a theater under the stars.
Tennis
Hit a ball or two on the tennis courts at the Meadow Recreation Area. (Bring
your own equipment - rentals are not available.)
Boat Rentals
Hire Pontoon Boats, Canopy Boats, and Sea Raycer by Sea Ray from the
Marina.
Bike Rentals
Hire a bike and cycle the path to Wilderness Lodge.
Fishing
Catch and release fishing on Bay Lake
Electric Cart
Electric powered carts with windshields and headlights
for night driving are available for rent at the Bike Barn at Disney's
Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Reservations are recommended
and can be made up to a year in advance by calling (407) 824-2742.
Tri-Circle-D Ranch & Farm
See rabbits, ducks, chickens and ponies at the petting farm.
Video Rentals
Rent movies from the Meadow Trading Post.
