Get there early or grab a fastpass as crowds tend to build quickly and wait times can be long throughout the day. Be aware thought that fastpasses can run out before lunchtime so if its a must do, make it one of your first stops.
If you don't mind your group being split up, try the single rider line for a shorter wait.
For the scene that takes place at Disneyland park, the film crew had to arrange for a special staging of the Disneyland parade.
Locations Featured in the film include San Francisco, Monterey Coast, Yosemite National Park, Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs, San Diego, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Los Angeles, Malibu and Disneyland in Anaheim.
The projection screen dome is some 80 feet in diameter and guests are lifted to a maximum height of 40 feet.
Each ride cycle can accommodate up to 87 riders.
The film projected in the attraction uses IMAX projection systems with high-speed, high-definition Omni-max film projectors.
The ride technology for the Soarin' attraction was based on an erector set model created by Walt Disney Imagineer Mark Sumner. One million pounds of steel provides the ride structure and 37 tons are lifted during each ride cycle.
