 Cayman Islands law prohibits all forms of public nudity, including topless sunbathing. In accordance with local customs it is also recommended that you wear a shirt, dress or beach cover-up unless on the beach.
The Cayman Islands dollar (CI$) is on a fixed exchange rate with $0.80 CI equal to $1.00 US. The US Dollar is accepted throughout Grand Cayman. ATMS are available on the island. American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa are also widely accepted.
Many restaurants automatically add a 10-15% service charge to the bill. You are welcome to tip extra if you feel the service warrants it.
Wearing gloves and the touching or taking of marine life from Cayman waters at any time is not permitted.
