Continue along Nice's beautiful palm-lined Promenade des Anglais before joining the highway for the approximate 75-minute drive to Cannes.
Upon arrival, enjoy a walking tour of the elegant La Croisette Avenue where you can admire the famous hotels, shop along the Rue d'Antibes or walk up the steps of the Palais des Festivals—the central venue for the film festival that was first held in 1939 as a reaction to fascist interference in the Venice Film Festival.
Re-board your coach for a 45-minute drive to Grasse, where you will explore the birthplace of the French perfume industry on a guided tour of a factory, learning how such ingredients as flowers are boiled, processed, condensed and distilled into bottled scents. Embark on an unforgettable half-day or full-day excursion throughout the French Riviera and its neighboring region via a private car or van, and experience the freedom of following your very own itinerary at your own pace.
Reserve a vehicle prior to the start of your cruise, and later when you arrive in Villefranche, have it ready and waiting to take you and up to 7 family members or friends to the places you most want to visit.
Each private vehicle includes one driver, but you can also reserve an experienced guide who will rendezvous with you in Villefranche or another nearby city and lead you on an eye-opening tour, providing insightful and relevant information designed with your entire family in mind.
Excursions last approximately 4 or 8 hours, but you're invited to reserve additional hours if you so desire.

Enjoy spectacular views during the narrated drive passing the fashionable resorts of Beaulieu and Eze Sur Mer, the town of Cap d'Ail and on to to the Principality of Monaco, including a drive along the Monte Carlo Grand Prix Motor Race Circuit.
Continue to Vista Palace, a strategic vantage point with spectacular views of the panorama of coastline stretching east from the Italian border all the way west to Monaco. Make a quick stop to take photos (traffic permitting).
Next, join the Grande Corniche at an altitude of nearly 1,600 feet, past the village of La Turbie en route to the medieval town of Eze, perched on a peak high above the Mediterranean.
Stop for approximately 45 minutes to enjoy a beverage and taste a piece of Socca, a local delicacy made of chickpea flour.
Continue along the Middle Corniche for a 20-minute drive (approximate) to Nice and enjoy the panorama extending from the tip of Cap d'Ail to the Esterel.
Enjoy a short coach tour of Nice before driving back to Villefranche along the Lower Corniche.

The Perfumer's Apprentice in Eze

Board a coach for a scenic 30-minute drive (approximate) along the magnificent Middle Corniche of the French Riviera before arriving at the medieval walled village of Eze.
Arrive at the Fragonard factory and begin by testing your nose; will you be able to identify fragrances such as Provencal lavender, fruity watermelon, sweet Lily-of-the-Valley and decadent chocolate?
Next, you will create your own Eau de Cologne, carefully blending scented and exotic fragrances, choosing between a floral, spicy or fruity. The result will be unique and original, as you will personalize the blend to match your own sensitivity.
At the conclusion of the workshop, each adult will receive a 100 ml bottle of your newly created masterpiece and a diploma certifying that you successfully attended the training course. Children will receive soap and a diploma.
Finish your perfume experience with a guided tour of the perfume factory and some time to browse the on-site shop.
Complete your afternoon with a 30-minute guided walking tour and approximately 30 minutes of free time to explore the magical city of Eze. Enter the ancient fortifications and experience what life was like hundreds of years ago as you stroll along the picturesque cobblestone streets. Note: This tour includes approximately 0.5 miles of walking at a leisurely pace, part of which will be on cobblestones and uphill.

White River Rafting

Take a scenic 90-minute drive (approximate) aboard a mini bus to Puget Theniers in the Sea Alps. Travel to Nice and along the Promenade des Anglais beore reaching the national road and your destination. Note: Guests should be in good physical condition to participate.
Upon arrival, receive a comprehensive safety briefing and instructions including a compulsory lifejacket. Note: Guests must be able to swim.
Descend the Var River in a boat selected according to the water level at the time of your tour. Your descent will take approximately 2 hours, including several stops along the way.
Arrive in Touët sur Var and take the approximate 90-minute drive back to Villefranche.

Additional Information
  • This excursion has a very low capacity; Guests are encouraged to book early.
  • Swimsuit, towel and a pair of closed-toe sport shoes are required. Shoes will get wet.
  • Helmet, wet suits and life jacket are included.
  • Guests are able to leave a backpack with their belongings on the bus while participating in the rafting.
  • No restrooms are available at the site; a restroom stop will be made on the return journey to Villefranche.
