Whether honoring a birthday or -- as celebrated in the classic Disney animated film, "Alice in Wonderland," -- an UN-birthday, Walt Disney World Resort is celebration central 365 days a year. No matter what the fantasy -- a romantic twilight cruise, a mid-day escape to Neverland or a splash-tacular slide down a ski slope -- the magic-makers at Disney can create the perfect celebration.
If you're staying at a WDW Resort, or dining at a WDW restaurant, make sure you mention your special celebration when you check-in.
Cruises
Guests of all ages can book a Celebration Cruise that lets them set sail on Disney's waterways aboard a pontoon boat with stereo options and a VIP viewing of a fireworks spectacular -- either "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth" at Epcot or "Wishes" at Magic Kingdom. Themed decorations, including a banner and balloons, snacks and drinks, are included in the party package (407/WDW-BDAY for more information).

Themed Parties
The party-planning experts on the Walt Disney World Resort Sales team can turn one spark of imagination into a fully-themed creative bash with detailed décor and entertainment. A "Villain" party at Disney-MGM Studios might feature a crypt entrance, an eerie Tower of Terror bellhop host and gifts sent by favorite Disney villains. An "Under the Sea" party might include appearances by characters from Disney's animated classic "The Little Mermaid," a band playing Disney songs and a "bubble cave" party space lit in deep-water blue with ocean sound effects. Kids' Party Packages
Guests may choose to spend their special day with other magical options at Walt Disney World Resort. Among those:
- Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course party is a two-hour bonanza featuring elf-sized 18-hole courses themed as Santa's permanent off-season retreat. The birthday party, which includes a round of golf, a snowman cake, pizza, beverages and goody bags, can accommodate up to 40 guests. (407/WDW-BDAY)
- Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park party features an hour-and-a-half celebration on the Lottawatta Lodge dining deck at the popular water park, complete with pizza, a birthday cake and plenty of pink lemonade and iced tea to keep cool (water park admission required; 407/WDW-BDAY).
- The Neverland Club at Disney's Polynesian Resort offers two party packages, each including two hours of fun at The Neverland Club, pizza, drinks and a birthday cake. The basic package offers a choice of theme (pirate, princess, luau, sports or Mickey & Minnie) and choice of party activity like face painting or a craft project. The premium package includes all of the basic features plus two half-hour appearances by a favorite Disney character.(407/WDW-BDAY)

Birthday Slumber Parties at Swan & Dolphin Resorts
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is
taking birthday parties to the next level with the introduction of Destination Slumber Party
packages, a selection of customized sleepovers for celebrants ages seven through 13. Going
beyond piñatas and party bags, each option includes unique food and activities, set in one of
kids’ favorite destinations, Walt Disney World® Resort. Birthday girls and boys can choose
from princess pampering, beach bash, or pirate party.
• Princess Pampering
What better way to spend a birthday than being pampered like royalty? The youthful
princesses will start their day at the resort’s Mandara Spa, with one treatment from the teentargeted
YSPA spa menu, such as a Fabulous Fruity Facial or Sole Mate pedicure. Since a
princess is bare without her tiara, celebrants will create their very own jewel-encrusted
headpiece. Primped party-goers will then go to their special poolside party at Cabana Bar & Grill to enjoy Shirley Temple’s, sandwiches, tea and cake.
• Beach Bash
This birthday extravaganza, perfect for boys or girls or both, is a full day of fun in the sand
and sun. The beach-bums will play all day on the white sand, which is conveniently located
near the resort’s five pools and waterslide. A grilled lunch and frozen virgin drinks will refuel
the partiers. A DJ will play favorite summer tunes, and a personal game guru will be on
hand to coordinate beach volleyball, sand castle contests and much more.
• Pirate Party
Ahoy, matey! Pirates will wash up on shore at the beach and get ready for a mischievous
day with pirate accessories including eye patches and temporary tattoos. Sandwiches and
pirates punch will satisfy party-goers before all hands are needed on deck for a “buried
treasure” scavenger hunt.
Once night falls, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort will provide props for a
super slumber party. Flashlights for telling ghost stories will keep kids entertained for hours,
and a turndown of milk and cookies will satisfy late-night hunger before bed.
